Last week was our six year anniversary, so I went to Fontainebleau to visit Ben this past weekend. Due to an intense first five weeks of school for me, and Ben’s even more intense job search this fall, this was the first time we’ve seen each other since I left Paris for summer school in Croatia. I took a Thursday night flight to Stockholm, had a nap at a friends apartment before waking at 3am to catch an early Friday flight to Paris. We spent Friday and part of Saturday in the cozy village Barbizon located within the Fontainebleau forest, and known for its culinary scene. Saturday and Monday we spent around Fontainebleau, enjoying the beautiful weather and palace gardens.
